Privacy
What we store
For each report: the status you chose, the time, and either a ~1 km grid square (from GPS or your PIN code) or the district you picked. Your exact GPS position is converted to that square in the server and never saved.
Anonymous ids
A random cookie id and your IP address are turned into one-way codes (HMAC) and used only for rate limiting and to count each person once. The raw values are never stored. Your hosting network may also tell us your approximate city, which we only use to suggest a district — it is never saved.
What we don't collect
No names, phone numbers, email addresses or accounts.
Visit counts
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics: anonymous, no cookies, no tracking across sites.
Chat
Chat messages are public, shown for 24 hours, and can be hidden by other users' flags. Don't post personal information.
What others see
District names, and PIN-code areas that combine everyone reporting in them — never your square or position.
MP Power Status is independent and not affiliated with any electricity company. Reports are anonymous, user-generated and rate-limited.
